2010 NBBSA Softball Rookie League Schedule

Objective

Rookie League is designed to provide the basics of softball. Teams are assigned by neighborhood. The league will begin in clinic fashion, and progress into game format. Coaches will be pitching to batters after the initial couple of weeks using a batting T. The fundamentals of the game (hitting, base running, rules, fielding etc.) are taught. Players are rotated throughout the various positions during the game. The games are instructional and are not scored. No League standings are kept. (60` bases, 35` pitching distance 9" ball)
