********************************************** Objective: Provide the youth of NBBSA with a facility for developing skills in general as well as those skills associated with baseball.
Provide the youth with examples of how to conduct themselves when participating in a sporting event. These include sportsmanship, teamwork, respect for others, desire to improve their skills, cooperation, respect for those in authority (to include managers, coaches, umpires, and peer groups).
To instill in our youth the understanding that to perform well at any sport, effort must be expended in developing particular skills. That the best way to develop these skills is through practice and drills.To make our youth aware that though winning is important, two more important goals are (1) to improve our skills and (2) to enjoy the game of baseball.
